movie review: 21 Jump Street

Okay, so on all rational levels, I didn’t care for this movie. I wouldn’t want to watch it in the company of other human beings. It was pointlessly violent and offensive and poked fun at cliches without ever really rising above them.

And yet. There were moments (multiple moments!) where I laughed *so hard* during this movie. And that’s valuable to me. So there’s that.

In conclusion, I have mixed feelings.
