Thank goodness we get a subscription to the local newspaper, or else I might have missed this convergence of Very Important News Items.

These were the three biggest headlines on the front page of today’s paper:

1. Biden, Ryan squabble over everything
(I believe the commonly accepted term is “debate,” but we’ll accept squabble as well.)

2. Gobblers everywhere
(Apparently it was a good year for turkeys? Certainly seems to have been, as indicated by the other two headlines.)

3. President says UNH does not ‘whine about things’
(The best part is that this is an actual article about a proposed funding thing, but it’s the whining that gets the headline.)
