So, I’m going to an engagement party tonight. Do you know when the last time I went to an engagement party is? That would be NEVER. I’m pretty sure I can dredge up a memory of *some* kind of party, at some point, but it was a long time ago. Like, years. And years.

Today was dedicated (despite my attempts to the contrary) to preparing for said party — figuring out how to get there, getting a hostess gift (wine, apparently a classic), card, outfit, etc. I’m exhausted, and I haven’t even gone yet!
