skipping advent today…

I had two potentials for the day, but both are looking unlikely, unless I’m going to do them asleep.

First was #3: help decorate the tree.

Family is calling a delay of game on this one; we’re all wiped out after the day, and the thought of even opening up the ornament boxes is a little overwhelming at the moment.

Second was #14: sing along all the words to a holiday carol.

I thought this would be *so* easy. Unfortunately, I did not count on my short attention span (any song with a musical bridge in it is out; I lose focus and don’t jump back in till too late) or my inability to sing the right words (apparently ‘Hark the Herald Angels Sing’ has words other than ‘la la la, la la la la’). Still working on it!
