marcicatMassive kudos to the Murderbot tv show for coming up with my favorite phrase of 2025 so far: PERIMETER TIME.
*the idea of 'checking the perimeter' as an acknowledged stand-in for 'I want to go be alone for a while, and also do something vaguely useful'
*as in "maybe it just needs some perimeter time"
