random week notes

1. *Andrea is in Vancouver! It’s still sort of mind-boggling to me. Vancouver! That’s a whole different country! (Hi *Andrea! Lots of love!)

2. I have so far failed to exceed last weekend’s pinball level. Not, I’m somewhat embarrassed to say, for lack of trying.

3. I’m using chrome as a browser on this computer, and it shows me those tiles of my most recently visited sites, right? And tumblr’s tile has been stuck on a picture of Joseph Gordon-Levitt all week. Which is cool, except I’m not really sure why it won’t update like all the other tiles.

4. Re: work. I’m only a *little* nervous about leaving the island this weekend. (Always makes me nervous to leave after I’ve had a “workplace conflict” with someone, like there might be a coup before I’m back on the schedule.)

5. Why do I always feel locked in to an expectation of having five things? I only ever have four decent things to share, and the fifth always ends up being something dull (usually about my insecurity about lists of five things).
