putting procrastination to good use

While I was procrastinating on writing my March fic, I opened a file for my work self-evaluation. A while I was procrastinating on that, I managed to write my article for the newsletter, set up email on Mom’s phone, drink a cup of tea, and get this blog post up!

movie review: Wreck-It Ralph

Watching this movie was one hour and 41 minutes well spent! Basically, the plot includes all my favorite things: all the universes cross over (so they don’t have to be lonely!), basically everyone is a good guy, it all turns out okay in the end, and most conflicts are just misunderstandings. (Really, at one point Ralph even says, “This is all just a misunderstanding.”)

*Loved that the credits showed the four main characters having adventures together in other games.

*Loved that they didn’t forget about the “gameless” characters, and found a way to give them homes again.

*Loved that Ralph saved the day with science. (Sort of.)

[note: I did have some issues with the nesquick-sand and the laffy taffy and the hitting thing. (Still trying to decide how I feel about that, particularly since the taffy seemed to have all hearts in mind after the "rescue.")]

All in all, would watch again!
