current favorite fic for a show I’m not watching

I do not watch Person of Interest. But! Some of the fic is really good, so here’s one I liked. (Plus, it’s by astolat!)

movie review: Rise of the Guardians

(Not to be confused with ‘Legend of the Guardians’ — that was the one with the owls. This is the one with Jack Frost.)

Much to my surprise, I liked it! Some disturbing imagery (particularly with regards to the defeat of Pitch), but I thought the movie left the door wide open for a redemption angle, so that’s what I’m going with.

I thought the plot was okay, but mostly I liked the interaction between the Guardians — North and Bunnymund, Toothania and the Baby Teeth, all of them with children — it was so much fun! (“Everybody loves the sleigh.”)

I kind of want to watch it again, actually.
