thanks, internet!
Apr. 5th, 2013 08:40 amI was going to write a post about workplace empathy, but my horoscope recommends that I “take the high road” today.
Naturally, this led to me googling the phrase “highest road in the world.”
(Turns out this is not it.)

Apparently, there is some debate about the highest vehicle-accessible pass in the world. In classic wikipedia fashion, here are the wiki!facts.
“Khardung La is widely, but incorrectly, believed to be the highest vehicle-accessible pass in the world.”
Other contenders include Mana Pass, Semo La, and Marsimik La. (“Vehicles have been driven over the 5,582 metres (18,314 ft) Marsimik La, in the Indian Karakoram to the north-east of Khardung La, but it is debatable whether this pass should be considered to be motorable.”)
