what a day

Low Point:

I basically poured my drink all over myself when I was driving to work this morning. Super classy way to begin my second-to-last day at this job. Thank goodness it was cold enough this morning that I was 1) wearing a coat, and 2) the coat was zipped up.

High Point:

Driving home, I heard peepers for the first time this year! A definite sign of spring, especially since it meant it was warm enough that I was driving with the window down.

really, fedex?

My package was shipped on Monday, 4/7, from Utah. Headed for New Hampshire.

As of today, 4/10, it’s in Maryland. Presumably, still headed for New Hampshire.

Estimated delivery date is Friday. But not this Friday! NEXT Friday, 4/18.

Which does kind of make you wonder — what sort of galactic interference could possibly exist between Maryland and New Hampshire that it will take my box six business days to traverse it?

(Maybe Maryland is a dead end, and now they have to ship it back to Utah and start over. I’ve been to Maryland, and it seemed nice, but maybe it is also secretly anti-FedEx.)
