‘bring a sloth to work’ day

In an effort to escape the winter doldrums, my work team instituted “themed Wednesdays.” (We just love team-building! Or something like that.) It’s fun and easy and gives everyone something to talk about that’s not ‘I wish it wasn’t 19 degrees out.’

So far we’ve done scarf day, hat day, blazer day, and fun socks day. Switching it up for this week, the theme is “bring a stuffed animal to work.” Which is why I know that one of my coworkers DOESN’T HAVE ANY STUFFED ANIMALS. I know. I was shocked.

I offered to bring one in for her, in the spirit of teamwork, and since I have SO MANY. And I was trying to list off a few so she could pick, and she was all, ‘I love sloths!’

Which is why I woke up today to an email I sent myself, with the subject line: ‘bring a sloth to work’
