Friday not-fic rec

I really want to have a turtle on my door for May. Not a real turtle, which would be mean to the turtle and super awkward in a variety of ways. But for my May door art, I would like to have a turtle theme.

Option #1:
Origami Sea Turtle

Now, origami and I have a somewhat tricky relationship — sometimes the directions make sense to me and I’m all ‘what even have I done this is amazing everyone look at this!’ And the rest of the time I’m more ‘wtf is this freaking magic handwave that happened between step 9 and 10 this is impossible.’

So we’ll see! Crafturday approaches, and I’ll post a turtle update when I have finished either 1) basking in glory, or 2) recovering from embarrassment.
