I’m honestly not sure how this happened, but somehow at our work meeting yesterday it was decided that our next team building event will be a team trip to see ‘Mad Max: Fury Road.’ (Nothing like a little post-apocalyptic desert chase movie to bring people together!)

It was crazy — we went straight from ‘there’s another Mad Max coming out’ to ‘Thunderdome nostalgia,’ and wound up with my boss shushing me while we watched the preview on the big meeting room screen. (Which, for the record, there’s no need to shush anyone. There’s virtually no dialogue in the preview, just a lot of stuff blowing up.)

Anyway, as team building goes, I’m in favor. A team building event where the majority of the time is spent sitting in the dark and not interacting with each other? I love it!
