New person at work! Definitely cause for celebration this week. Some of the many benefits of new coworkers:

1. They give everyone something new to talk about!

2. They are typically eager to make a good impression, and will volunteer to do the crap no one wants to do!

3. They tend to make a lot of errors at first, making the rest of us look better!

4. News and gossip from the outside world! (For real, it feels like work is a bubble sometimes.)

In this particular case, the addition will also bring a change in my schedule. So, that will be interesting.
