movie review: Kingsman

Well, I can now say that I’ve seen this movie. It’s — a parody? Sort of?

It actually felt a little like Zoolander, in that I kept thinking ‘Is this really happening? Are they serious?’ Totally over-the-top ridiculous without any sort of *wink-nod-cough* to the audience to acknowledge it. Which is certainly its own kind of movie experience.

Some things about the fanfic make more sense now. (I totally get the lack of consensus on the baby’s name now. As my two cents, I had closed captioning turned on, because I couldn’t figure out how to turn it off, and that said ‘days,’ so I vote for Daisy.)
