memorable quote Monday

I went looking for a quote from a Sentinel fanfic I read ages ago, that went something like this:

[Jim, thinking to himself, as he drives the truck — or maybe gets out of the truck? — at night]

“Ears like a bat; eyes like a cat. He was like a goddamn menagerie.”

Knowing my memory, it was probably only vaguely close to that, and I was unable to find the fic. (Still can’t find the one where they move out of Cascade and Jim eats a popsicle at a town fair, either.)

But I did manage to dig up one classic!
