fic rec Friday

Somehow I wandered into some Daredevil fic yesterday.

(Okay, it was because of bluemeridian’s bookmarking of Something Dumb to Do, by poisonivory. How could I resist a story that includes the author’s note, “Also, Karen knows Matt’s secret in this, because Karen not knowing is bullshit.”)

Gotta love the meet-the-Avengers type fics, though:

Clint was still staring at him. “You found out your friend was a superhero so you took a first aid class?”

[NOTE: The tags on the fic say ‘implied/referenced torture’ but I think that’s maybe underestimating it a little? It’s a short scene and the rest of the fic is so fun, but just a heads up that as soon as Fisk shows up, might want to scroll till the Avengers and Matt get their rescue on.]
