holiday lights are here

The very first holiday lights went up at the apartment complex I live at yesterday. I *think* they are Halloween lights. From my viewing distance, my best guess is that one string is pumpkins (orange blobs) and one string is ghosts (white blobs).

It seems early. Really early. Maybe they are actually to celebrate the first day of autumn? (September 22) I mean, I don’t typically think of that as a twinkly lights holiday, but it could be!
