Oct. 28th, 2017 06:53 am1. 5K day! My phone says it is currently 36F degrees, with 100% humidity. It is not actually predicted to rain today. To be fair, I have not confirmed these weather conditions by actually looking outside. My curtains are currently firmly in place, because A) sunrise isn't for another half hour or so, and this way I can pretend it's day time; and B) I haven't turned the heat on yet, and the curtains are providing extra insulation.
2. First full week in the new job: achieved. Two thumbs up. I predict it will get harder, because right now I get to do a lot of passing hard things over to my coworker, but it seems good so far.
3. My computer took an unusually long time to turn on this morning, and when it finished I couldn't actually do anything -- no trackpad, no keyboard. Did a hard restart with fingers crossed and it's working now, but it felt like a warning shot. Dear computer: please hold it together till tax refund season, I know you can do it!
