Last week I had a very nice walk with someone who predicted that our current weather pattern was leading us straight back to a drought. Since I wasn’t really sure of our current drought status, I thought it prudent to reply as vaguely as possible.

But now I have relocated the US Drought Monitor map, and can confidently say “not yet.” While there is certainly drought out there, our state is currently drought free, which is — pretty awesome, actually.
