I read a thing this weekend that said Apple was going to stop selling iTunes music downloads in 2019, and didn’t think much of it. Companies make decisions I don’t understand or agree with all the time.

But then this morning I maybe had some more feelings about it, so I thought I should write about it, and I started poking around the internet for some more information. Which — wow. That sure was something. A little more shouting about fake news than I was really prepared for on a Monday morning.

Anyway, Apple isn’t going to stop selling music downloads. Probably. Unless they stop making money, in which case they probably will. Or if they just feel like it. (Apple’s decision making often strikes me as a weird combination of capriciousness and satire. I thought air pods were a joke for the longest time, but no! They are a real product!)
