workaday Thursday

Skipping Wednesday but doing work posts on Tuesday and Thursday? Why not?

Here is the latest update on my workplace’s attempt to regulate internet usage. Sites I can access using company internet:

*facebook
*youtube
*tumblr
*instagram

Sites I cannot access using company internet:

*AO3

I am genuinely unclear on what they are trying to do here. Surely there is a combination of work-appropriate and non-work-appropriate content on all of those sites? Yet AO3 is the only one where it is relatively easy to export content for viewing off the site. (Not that I would *ever* email pdfs of fics to myself to read at work. Just — hypothetically speaking, it could be done.)
