cool app alert

I have A Thing about having lots of apps showing on my phone screen. Two rows; that’s it. (I want to see my background picture, darn it!) So if I’m not using something regularly, I like to tuck it away in the little Extras folder. (I might want it again someday! I don’t want it to go away forever!)

So for me to find a new app that I’m willing to disrupt the flow of my phone screen for is a Big Deal.

But I just got Relax Melodies, and it is an excellent addition. (Okay, to be fair, I didn’t actually disrupt the flow of the screen. NPR One got shuffled to the Extras folder to make space for it.)

Things I like about Relax Melodies:

*the icon is pretty

*the app itself is pretty

*sleep timer!

*super customizable — you can mix and match any of the sounds at any volume, and save mixes to come back to later

*there is a purring cat sound
