Here’s a thing I wish I’d known as a kid: mosquito bites aren’t as itchy now that I’m grown up.

(Sixty seconds of googling indicates this is not an isolated phenomenon, and is potentially due to desensitization over time. But as always, #notmedicaladvice.)

So hey, past self, you got this. Those mosquito bites really are as itchy as you think, and all those adults you think have amazing self-control and you’ll never be as good as are actually feeling something different!
