weather ramblings

I think I probably complain about the weather an average amount. I mean, it’s New Hampshire, so there’s a certain amount of weather chatter that isn’t really positive *or* negative, just a sort of ‘what’s all this?’ and ‘this might as well happen, I guess.’

But fog is pretty cool, and only partly because EVERY time I see it I feel compelled to say, “There will be fog tonight!” (The movie ‘The 13th Warrior’ apparently left a single lasting impression.)

Fog also makes me think of the movie ‘Fly Away Home,’ because movie fog is almost always more impressive and exciting than real-life fog.

And no discussion of fog would be complete without a shoutout to the trip starandrea and I took to Ruggles Mine years back. Fog! Everywhere! And rocks! (Seriously, though, it was fun. Chilly, but fun.)
