future self, take note

I got a new toaster oven, after a series of events led to a lack of confidence that my former toaster would A) work; and B) not explode. (I like to think I’m pretty flexible when it comes to the abilities of my appliances, but those two are kind of important.)

The new toaster is A+ great. The best part, though, is something I would never have thought to check for. It has two little tiny bumper dots on the inside of the door, so that when you close the door, there’s no noise. So smooth. So quiet. It’s delightful. It’s everything I never knew I wanted from my toaster oven door.
