post-holiday Friday

*Back to work! Or rather, "work," since I'm not sure how much is really going to get done today. Pretty sure this is one of those "All the other businesses will be closed; there will be no one to do business with!" days. (Thanks, Muppet Christmas Carol, for having a quote for all occasions!)

*To motivate me to actually get ready for work and stop sitting around in my pajamas, a list of things I am looking forward to once I arrive at my workplace:

-Free coffee! Always a plus.

-Not much to do except writing; hoping to get some good words today! (Writing is one of the best 'looks like work' non-work activities; I can usually keep a tab open and bash out some words in between other things.)

-Neither of my work "neighbors" will be there, which means I will probably be able to play music with no headphones required!

-Yesterday felt like the weekend, but today is Friday, so tomorrow will be the weekend again!
