it's okay to just turn back
Aug. 9th, 2020 07:43 amDid not listen to myself yesterday, decided to go out for a walk. Regrettably and unintentionally picked the only hour of the day when it rained. Only mildly successful at convincing myself that walking in the rain was 'kind of fun, really.'
But there was a bright side! (Metaphorically, although there was also literally a bright side -- the sun came out by the time I got back to the apartment.)
*Cutting the walk short left me plenty of time and energy to buy more kitty litter on the way back; which had tentatively been on my list but I didn't think I'd get to it.
*The huge tree blocking the second half of the path felt more like a sign from the universe than a frustrating obstacle.
*Saw two doggos on the way back to the car.
