winter joys
Feb. 3rd, 2021 05:56 amStill dreaming of spring, but yesterday had its own moments of joy:
*A cardinal flying between the bushes, easy to spot against the white snow backdrop.
*Watching a neighbor efficiently clear snow off their truck with just a dustpan.
*First footprints in the snow for a walk between the buildings.
*Wearing my snowpants to clear off the car (it's amazing how much being warm and dry really improves the experience).
*The wind finally settling down.
