*now* Christmas is over
Mar. 7th, 2021 06:55 amAs of March 6th, I finally took the Christmas lights down from the balcony! (I usually wait till it's a little warmer, but it wasn't too bad with the morning sun hitting the balcony just right. And there was no snow on them, so it was a good moment to get it done.)
It marked another milestone in the 'packing stuff up' journey, which is to say, I think I finally have all the Christmas stuff packed now? No, wait -- the tree stand! Gah. It's such a pesky size/shape; it has spent the last few years just tucked away in various spots. Maybe today I'll finally get it in a box. It can go in with the other leftover bits and pieces from the Christmas light removal (aka the outdoor extension cord and the timer switch).
((Will I remember that's where I put it? No, absolutely not. As the 'whoops I lost all the pens' situation has taught me, things that seem perfectly logical at one time will be 100% incomprehensible and un-guessable in the future.))
