a noteworthy achievement

There is ONE apartment that still has their Christmas door decoration up in the hallway, and it is (much to my delight) the red berry wreath.
Ah, the red berry wreath. It has featured in many years of competitions for lengthiest decoration, and this time it's taken the top prize. To be fair: I think a strong argument could be made that it's perfectly appropriate for the Thanksgiving - Christmas - New Year - Lunar New Year - Valentines Day holiday bonanza -- red berries are very versatile!
Possibly St. Patrick's Day is a stretch. But if they stick it out a little longer, we'll be looking at Memorial Day and July 4th, and they'll be all set!
