Douluo Continent update
Mar. 16th, 2021 05:51 am*Based on skimming the comments on the youtube eps, I should perhaps clarify I have been watching live-action drama. Apparently there's an animated version too!
*LLAMACORNS! Okay, so the show called them 'Sand Beasts,' but they were llamas with unicorn horns, which seems like llamacorns to me. (The internet agrees with my vague sense that llamas are not well-suited for desert conditions, but clearly that's where the magic powers come in.)
*Also canon: magic flowers.
*ANOTHER woman has been introduced! A grown-up! (Deaths of women remain at zero, as of episode 29, although unsettling deaths of other characters remains a theme.)
*Love that the standard teaching theory seems to be: 'we'll let the kids fight it out amongst themselves and make their own choices, unless it seems like they might be in danger, and then we'll leap to their defense in any way necessary, up to and including overthrowing government powers.'
