They usually do, and we were just reading this week about how this is now a standard dentist office procedure. (Tried to figure out how high your bp would have to be before they'd send you home, but it wasn't immediately sleuth-able. Presumably it depends on a variety of factors?)
I *almost* said 'you're not going to take my blood pressure? I skipped coffee for that!' because I did.
But 1) I didn't want to be troublesome; and 2) I didn't want to reveal that I do my best to game the blood pressure testing whenever possible. (I personally think it's fine to follow non-standard patterns in an attempt to lower the numbers when you know the circumstances surrounding the test are also non-standard and will most certainly raise the numbers. It's just helping balance that out!)
Anyway, now it feels like it should be at least Thursday, since I did the grocery shopping yesterday, but alas (or yay? hard to say), it is Wednesday.
