an unnecessary and arbitrary goal

Because apparently I've decided that what this nanowrimo really needs is an additional goal, I will now be attempting to get two days ahead of par before Thanksgiving. (Why? IDK, I'm either gaming my brain into having more fun and less stress, or I'm deliberately increasing my stress because I'm uncomfortable with downtime. So it goes.)

ANYWAY the point is that I will now be trying to reach 40,000 words by Monday the 22nd.
