first vet visit: achieved
Jul. 7th, 2022 06:10 amCagney has now had her first vet visit, which sure was an experience. (I like this vet practice, but it's just a stressful time for all involved.) Hopefully her blood work all comes back looking good, and I can breathe a sigh of relief until it's time for her rabies vaccination later in the year.
My favorite part of the visit:
Vet Tech: "I LOVE her! She's perfect! AHH what an adorable cat! Her little nose! Toe beans!"
Vet: "It's nice to meet you." (We've literally "met" five times already.)
I feel like this is a perfect encapsulation of how I feel when interacting with cats versus how I feel interacting with humans. Cats: perfect! amazing! I love them! Humans: acceptable; best not to encourage over-familiarity.
