is summer over yet?
Jul. 23rd, 2022 06:27 amIt is not, and also it turns out that July has a truly astonishing FIVE full weekends, so there is actually a startling amount of July left as well. (In a stroke of good luck, that does mean that the 'chores I try to do in the last weekend of the month' can be put off for another seven days!)
That brings my list of goals for this weekend to a hopefully manageable TWO THINGS:
*Stay hydrated
*Try not to be overwhelmed by existential dread and anxiety about the weather, the state of the world, and the fact that the cat won't stop eating the house plants
(Alternate second goals, because it's good to have backup plans: spend a little time outside each day; eat a sandwich; maybe buy myself a little treat.)
