a change in the air

It was warm enough yesterday evening that I left the windows open when I went to bed, but the wind kept up overnight. For the first time, it got cool enough that I thought 'hm, another blanket wouldn't go amiss.' I even fumbled through closing the window! (Because I could do that without getting up, unlike the blanket thing.)

We are dipping our toes into the best time of year! (The time when you don't need to pay for air conditioning OR heat!)
