*My workplace's consistent refusal to utilize project managers (because if every team just does their part, it will all magically align, right?) has created So Many Problems over the years. I keep reminding myself that if they wanted the project to go smoothly, they would hire someone to make sure it happened.
*Hilariously, there is someone who I was told is 'managing' a project I'm currently working on. But when I asked them how they wanted to get information, they essentially said 'I expect all teams to manage their own part of the work without my input.'
(*A nice thing about working at home is that when an email makes me THAT upset, I can simply walk away for a few minutes, and not have to worry that anyone will see me and report to HR that I 'looked angry' or 'seemed stressed.')
*In fact, I'm breathing easier just thinking about being able to do that! Wow, sunshine and bird song really does help. Letting it go so I can take a fun trip to the grocery store!
