happy new year!
Jan. 1st, 2024 07:23 amI was trying to triple-confirm that the grocery store is open today (it is), and I wound up on their website, looking at their 'store holiday hours' -- a list of which days in 2024 will have holiday hours. One in particular caught my eye: 3/31/24
Me: there's no holiday on March 31st, what's that on there for?
Me, considering this Mystery in the most dramatic way possible: WHAT DOES THE GROCERY STORE KNOW ABOUT MARCH 31ST THAT I DON'T KNOW???
The answer became obvious when I checked a calendar to figure out what day of the week March 31st is. It's Easter Sunday. Easter's in March this year, and also it has holiday hours at the grocery store. What a relief! Also, I think it's hilarious that my brain considered jumped to 'someone at the grocery store has prophetic knowledge of future events' before 'maybe Easter is in March.'
