After some consideration, Wei Wuxian leaves two bowls on the kitchen table, one with the last of jiejie’s fish soup (Wei Wuxian stares at it mournfully but he has a guest) and one with the leftover salad from dinner. Then he hustles Wei Yuan out of the kitchen crying “Homework! Homework! Even friends of dragons must do homework!” and golden eyes watch them go.
