There are two books, only loosely related. (They're both set in the same universe, but not on the same planets, and the characters never interact.) I listened to the second one first (Ocean's Echo) and enjoyed it enough to listen to the first one (Winter's Orbit), which I thought was great.
They're both narrated by Raphael Corkhill, who deserves a special shoutout for being EXTREMELY DRAMATIC in the best possible way.
(Added bonus: both of the books have a lil' extra available on the website. The Winter's Orbit one is Very Funny, A++)
