advent list 2012: day 22

marcicatA few big ones took care of themselves this week, which was immensely exciting.
1. World did not end!
2. Christmas tree is up! And decorated!
3. It snowed on Monday, and you better believe I walked in it! To my car! And back!
Some are still in question.
1. Secret Snowflake at work — so far all the feedback I’ve gotten seems to indicate that yes, it is both fun and successful! But it’s not over yet, so I’m holding off on a final congratulatory ‘woohoo!’
2. Does bringing hard-boiled eggs and Clementines to my coworkers count as taking someone out to lunch? I mean, we didn’t go out, except in the sense that we were already out, since we were at work instead of at home.
3. Solstice — I recognized the Solstice? But I’m not sure I could go as far as honoring. I took a nap? That was nice.
And there are some that remain out of reach, whether due to simple timing, or my own lack of making things happen (yet!).
1. Christmas! (I’m pretty sure this one will work out, though.)
2. ’31 blog posts’ and ‘go outside every day.’ I’m up to 22? I’m not sure that was great planning on my part, though, with those two.
3. Write a holiday mini-fic. Not done. (I hoped putting “mini” in the goal would make it seem less intimidating. So far I have a paragraph.)
