day 2: if I say I appreciate this, can I go home now?

Phase One: Hike

It was really only 0.4 miles from the starting point to the top of the hill, but it was VERY PRETTY.

Note: Apparently the boss was not kidding yesterday when he said he was not going to bring any bug repellent because he was going to borrow it from someone else. That someone else was me, which was kind of funny because we didn’t actually see each other until we were already at the top of the hill (funny story, not really). Oops?

Phase 2: Baseball

Lovely day for baseball, particularly if you really enjoy it. Which none of us really did, as far as I could tell, but I was very impressed by the stadium’s bathrooms.

Note: For the first inning, the home team had an adorable dog that retrieved their bats. So cute! I think we were all ready to go home by the end of the day, though.
