basically I’m terrible at being on vacation

Here on day three of a three-day weekend, it’s hard for me to deny that I am Not Awesome at vacations.

It’s been very hot, and we are an air-conditioning-free household, which means lots of fans and open windows and cold beverages.

So it kind of feels like I’ve been vacationing on a tropical island getaway for three days, which is pretty neat, and yet I can’t help feeling like I kind of want to go home now.
