1. Got new sunglasses! My receipt lists them as ‘mens sunglasses.’ Really? There’s such a thing as sunglasses specifically for men or women? Regardless, they’re not mens sunglasses anymore, because they are now my sunglasses.

2. Got greeting cards! This bit was going to be about how Trader Joes is ridiculous for double bagging my ten greeting cards and box of granola bars, but then I tried to (lightly) stuff my fleece shirt into the immense empty space left in the bag, and both bags ripped right down the side. So, I guess good call TJs?

3. Got beads! Lovely local bead shop, where I am 99% sure one of my high school classmates was also shopping. This is always awkward for me — like, we weren’t friends then, should we say hi now? Should we ignore each other? What is the accepted protocol? (I wish their was a greeting that was essentially ‘I respectfully acknowledge our acquaintance and do not wish for further interaction at this time.’)
