Movie Review: 2012
Feb. 4th, 2011 04:19 pmOkay, wow. No one warned me that this movie was a total tearjerker. I cried a *lot,* which is — well, not actually that uncommon for me. Anyway, it was okay. Long. Like, after twenty minutes, when nothing had blown up yet, I kind of started to get bored. Also, I felt pretty cheated that I sat through over eight minutes of credits to find out if there was an end teaser. (There’s not; you can turn it off after the Adam Lambert song.)
It’s already been reviewed to pieces, so here are the three random quotes I wrote down as I watched. I think there were a lot of potential movies that could have been made with this kind of premise, and I think I would have liked some of them a lot more than the one that got made.
My Three Random Quotes From The Movie:
“When they tell you not to panic, that’s when you run!”
-John Cusack (it’s a bad sign that I’ve already forgotten all their names)
“Today none of us are strangers. Today we are one family, stepping into the darkness together.”
-President Danny Glover
“Do you think you’ve changed since we separated?”
“I seem to eat a lot more cereal now.”
-the divorced American parents
