This morning a customer came in and was talking with one of my coworkers. The conversation wasn’t really taking place near me, but close enough so I knew they were talking about food and food restrictions.

All of a sudden, the customer says, “I don’t know if it matters to you, but I’m a Presbyterian.”

So there I was, listening in, and super confused trying to remember anything I might have ever known about Presbyterian eating restrictions.

Except no, it turns out — the word the customer was going for was “Pescetarian.” (I learned this concept as pesco vegetarian — a vegetarian who eats fish — so pescetarianism was a new one for me.)

[And also, no again, because in reality the customer was more of a pesco-ovo-lacto vegetarian who also ate chicken. aka, no cows or pigs, but everything else is fair game. I'm not sure there's actually a fancy name for that; I think it's just 'I don't eat beef or pork.']
