Yeah, February. Not a month with much to recommend it this time around, I’m sorry to say. On the plus side, Olympics! On the minus side, WEATHER.

But as February draws to a close, I’d like to give a shoutout to change. For the last six months or so, I’ve been changing my email backgrounds and computer wallpaper at the turning of each month. This has had a surprisingly positive effect on my outlook.

(At least with regards to my computer. I mean, I’m still just as cranky about work, and driving, and everything else, but I feel more positive about working on my computer. Which, let’s face it, is something I spend a lot of time doing anyway, so I might as well feel good about it.)
