movie review: About Time
Mar. 26th, 2014 09:38 pmIt’s the time traveling romance movie that’s not ‘The Time Traveler’s Wife.’ I liked it!
(Okay, I cried, but only at the sad parts, and it was actually a surprisingly happy and hopeful movie. Also I fast-forwarded over a few parts that were embarrassing or that I was nervous about. It still took two hours to watch so I got very nearly the full experience.)
IT ALL TURNS OUT OKAY. THANK GOODNESS.
(From a conceptual standpoint, this superpower would make me so nervous. It has always been reassuring to me that time moves on regardless of whether I feel ready. But I don’t want to be Captain America, either, and that doesn’t keep me from enjoying the movies.)
Overall: Yay British accents and cute kids!
