I can neither confirm nor deny the presence of a ghost in my workplace. (Back when I did my preview day, I was told the building was haunted. Or that some people believe it is haunted, at least.)

However, the kitchen is always inexplicably colder than all of the rooms and hallway around it, and NO ONE will eat in it. No one. It’s actually super weird. People pass through it — store stuff in the fridge, use the blender, sink, toaster, microwave, get cups, throw stuff away, make coffee, all those things. But they don’t linger.

So, I’m not saying it’s definitely haunted. Just that there is a certain amount of circumstantial evidence that would seem to support that theory.

I did a computer course in a secondary school two towns over a (mumble)few years back, and the toilet we were told to use was always freezing cold. Most of the time, when we went in to use it, we suddenly decided we didn't need to that badly; it wasn't unusual to see someone start to go in, stop in the door, and come back out. Never did find out why, but it was weird.

Breaking news! I just found out there is (supposedly) a meeting scheduled in the kitchen on June 12. This is particularly odd since it seems like there are way too many people coming to the meeting to fit in there? But we'll see if it actually happens, or quietly gets moved to some other room.
